Biohazard's mutant offspring..

Well what do we have here?

Not content with dominating the global dvd market next year (and hopefully having a healthy little run in theatres too..) The folks behind Biohazard have decided to create a series of offshoots, one of which being the prequel short - 'Bitten' which is also being served up in comic book form.

So there you have it, an ultra exclusive look at the first two pages of the 'Bitten' book.

Ten points to whoever guesses the city first..

SARGE does a spot of moonlighting for the Navy Seals..

Here's a bit of trivia for you all..

Earlier this year a certain cave dwelling despot was discovered by a group of Navy Seals who promptly put a bullet in his face. (Well done boys)

What many of you don't know is the one who gave him the good news was none other than yours truly... SARGE ... on loan for one mission before hotfooting it back over to Nellis to resume his duties..

The following link is a BBC dramatization of the events that happened that day..

Disclaimer - this post of course refers to the T.V version of events - not the REAL MISSION. Whilst we act out and recreate the stories, the real boys and girls of the military do it every day for real. You have our love and our respect and our thanks. Always.

Four Brothers... and ... a sister?

Another nostalgic one here.
The boys - minus weapons and kit because we were out in a public place...
Soon to be joined by a new bad ass.. Private Ortega.

Watch this space.

Good times ahead..

Hi again,

with the second leg of filming rapidly approaching us, I thought it would be fun to start posting some more pictures to get you all in the mood for more Biohazard.

Here we have all our awesome soldiers (minus new addition Private Ortega) on route to a location courtesy of Ryan and his awesome truck.

Thanks again Ryan,  we look forward to seeing you soon!

The blog is back!

Hi everybody,

just a quick one to say how wonderful it is to have the blog back up...

Unfortunately, earlier this year we had a major pain in the ass - a former Biohazard actor and wannabe producer betrayed the film and went completely insane, doing his very best to shut us down..

Fortunately his best effort had about as much energy as a hundred year old fart..

You will notice this person has been deleted from all photos where possible and censored in all the others.

Good riddance!

We are now scheduled to go back out to our friends in the U.S in January and complete the journey... perhaps we will see you there?

Planes, Trains and ...Helicopters?

As part of our many efforts to look like a big budget movie, we have managed to blag and borrow lots of nice stuff, not to mention the many great locations we found in the U.S.A.. However, out of all the many awesome things we have procured thus far, this has to be one of the best...

A helicopter, courtesy of the nice people flying around in the Nevada desert out near the Hoover Dam who, having met with us and talked about what we wanted to accomplish, decided to let us have theirs for a very reasonable price...

I think Michael Bay was the last person to shoot there before us so we were pretty lucky...

Who are the UGDF?

A few hours ago, we got a message from someone saying they represent an organisation called the UGDF, the United Global Defence Force, apparently some sort of future NATO or something....
Anyway - they were a bit pushy and wanted to know what the film was all about... hmmm.. are we a getting a bit too close to the truth perhaps?

Well, you can find out for yourself by searching for the UGDF and their affiliates UNITED GLOBAL PMC and see what they are up to... supposedly they both have websites going online in the next few months..

If you find anything zombie related, contact us at info.biohazard@gmail.com and we will stick it on the blog.

Happy hunting!

Bob, Penny and The Bunker

Throughout the pre production process, one of the most important sets to get right was always going to be 'The Bunker' where the initial survivors go to escape the horrors of The Zombie Apocalypse....

Whilst scouting in Rachel, we happened to see the entrance to an old mine that looked perfect.. the only thing was - we didn't know if we had the right permissions to shoot there..
Well, that was soon cleared up when the owners of the site that we had since wandered onto, apparently having passed some 'no trespassing' signs (oops!) came screeching to a halt in front of us in their truck.

What followed was what we have come to label as a typical Rachel Welcome - after an initial get to know you session we were, once again, astounded by the kindness and generosity of these simply wonderful people.

Bob and Penny were fantastic and really supportive of our cause. Not only were we allowed to film, we were even given a place on their popular website, www.nevadaplaces.com and greeted with open arms.

So, from the cast and crew of The Biohazard Movie, Bob and Penny - thank you so much - you have our eternal gratitude.

We Love Rachel!

What more can we say?...
Having come off the desert highway in the middle of the night, freezing cold and with nowhere to go, we pulled into the car park of the Little Ale'inn in the small desert town of Rachel, Nevada.

Now bearing in mind most of us were in full military battle gear, we were unsure of how welcoming our reception would be...

It would be the understatement of the year to say we were surprised...

Everyone we met from Pat the owner, her daughter Connie, our wonderful bar keeps and
general bad asses Mark, Cody and Ryan and wonderful residents Jay, Pam and everyone else we encountered were the kindest, most awesome people we have ever met and certainly the most accommodating..

So from everyone on the BioHazard movie cast and crew - Rachel, Nevada - we love you.

These ain't your daddy's zombies boy...

Zombies... Why do they exist? How fast do they move? What exactly is their motivation?
Whilst zombie lore dictates what any self respecting genre flick CANT do with their undead, there is always room to play with what you CAN do.

Obviously the specific character traits of our creatures will not be revealed until the film is released, but we can certainly say that these beasts are a little different to what you are used to seeing on the silver screen so far...

As the brutal, flesh crazed, frenzied hordes descend upon our small group of survivors, more will be revealed but one thing's for certain; these ain't your daddy's zombies boy..

What do you expect us to use - harsh language?

Before starting principal photography, one of the most important things to get right was the weapons we would be using in the film..
Thankfully, due to local interest in the production, we had a selection of advisors on hand to make sure our choices were authentic...
More detailed information on the individual soldiers props and weapons will follow shortly...

It begins...

Hello zombie film fans!

Welcome to the BioHazard Movie blog where, over the course of the next year, we will be updating you with all the stills, video and general zombie related behind the scenes goodness to come from the set and production offices of what we think will be the survival horror experience of the decade.

As of today, the cast and crew are five days away from heading off to the Nevada desert to begin principal photography before going on to shoot the remainder of our interiors in London, England.

For what, in industry terms, is a miniscule budget we have assembled a fine cast and a great crew as well as a plethora of super scary zombies.

Throughout the next four weeks we will be shooting, stabbing, hacking and slashing our way through the desert until we re-emerge in Los angeles in the beginning of February.

In the next two weeks we will be holding zombie and background castings at locations in the U.S to be advertised here and on the soon to be online thebiohazardmovie.com

Should you be interested in lending a hand along the way as a member of crew, a full schedule will be made available to anyone who applies. Just send your details to info.biohazard@gmail.com and you will be enlightened!

On behalf of all the cast, crew and of course myself, thank you for showing an interest in our crazy little film, we look forward to blowing your minds!

Director of BioHazard The Movie
